I work somewhere near the edge of the documentary tradition — unposed, patient, listening for the stillness that sits inside a moment, the quiet a place carries when no one is asking it to perform. I shoot with modern cameras, complemented by a carefully curated collection of vintage glass. I’m after a rendering you can’t buy off the shelf: warmer, slower, a little less certain.
